Laura was very sick days before her party, good thing she was well enough on the day of her party.

Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah ze Musical.

My friend Clarice was the one who sold me the tickets. Actually, I was only about to get 2, one for me and the other for Louraine. But when Nanay learned about it, she said she wanted to see Zsa Zsa, too (para daw may driver kami on our way to CCP). Thinking that Lola would be left behind, we included her, too. So there, butas na naman ang bulsa ko. I paid for their tickets, in the condition that Nanay would drive for us and take us to dinner afterwards.

The musical was great! Baklang bakla! I didn't know that Eula could sing that well. I love the setup of the stage, the songs and the costumes. By the way, I was able to take my Rebel to the theater, but was not able to get it out. This is my first time in a theater to see such obedient audience! Not a single cell phone was seen lighted during the whole show!

The photos above were products of our pangungulit, Clarice and I that is. When 'Didi', Zsa Zsa's gay best friend came out still on costume, Clarice tugged him and said "Didi, pwede magpa-picture?". I asked Clarice if she personally knows 'Didi' and she said giggling "Hindi noh, magpa-picture lang tayo, di naman nya tayo kilala e". And same went with 'Dodong', Zsa Zsa's love interest and the main star of the musical, Eula. Well, for Eula, we had to brave through the CCP guards to make it to the cafeteria.

This photo (Dodan's dad holding Maki) was chosen as photo of the month for December 2006 by Babyland in Glorietta, Makati. It was Dodan who submitted this photo last November '06 hoping that it would get a chance of winning, and it did! The prizes, which went to his niece, Maki - were baby toiletries (soap, baby powder, cologne, lotion, etc.), 500 gift check, and a baby pictorial. The prize may not be that great but still, I'm happy that it was chosen. Not too bad for my first try out on submitting my photo in a contest.

The newly weds, Tophet and Jubel.
Her wedding photographer was doing some "emoting" shots and I took advantage of it.
The wedding was held at Saint Peter Parish, Balibago Complex, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Reception was at the nearby clubhouse.

This cutie is only under two years (2 on February), but she did well! Walked through the aisle with her ate Keona (who also acted as one of the flower girls, hehehe)

The older sibling, this small wonder will amaze you. Just under 3 (turning 3 this February), she can eat her meal with the least assistance. And yes, like her cutie ninang, she loves to pose in front of the camera, too! Am hoping for another photoshoot with these two cuties, Keona and Kezra

The fashion show.
When Tatay saw these photos, a big 'susmaryosep' came out. And in his authentic batangeno accent, he exclaimed "ano baga yang damit na yaan? pagka-igsi-igsi!"

Donna is also her classmate and a close friend. The contestants have to wear something that is originally designed by one of their classmates. Her make up during the pageant was done by another classmate.

The participants are Com Arts and Journalism students. I hate how the set up of the stage looks like, so crappy.

For the male contestants, they have to model belts, originally designed. One of the reasons why Louraine joined the pageant was that "baka may mga cute na male contestant". Cute, yeah, there were 2 or 3, but I was surprised to learn that the most good looking, both face and body, of them is gay.

Louraine's Rampa

i came to the wicked sister's "rampa" event along with the stage mother and the doting lola. she didn't win, but seeing her walk down the stage is enough to make us beam with pride. maganda naman ang kapatid ko. anyway, when we came home, we said -

"louraine, kung sana lang may 'miss confidence' award (or miss yabang in tagalog to put it), for sure, ikaw ang panalo! ang tapang talaga ng apog mo!"

~ hhmmm.. rizal course from college and pe.

17. If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be?
~ amanpulo! hearing the news last night that erik morales and wife were there. i want to see and feel what a 25K per night place looks and feels like. of course, i will bring my trusty rebel. i hope i could also bring my family and friends.

~ never purchased anything online yet. too risky!

~ yep yeps, i do!

~ can't remember the title anymore, but it was during my college years.

~ right at this very minute (3:42pm as i write), i am just killing time since we still have no work to do (and that's why i am filling up this randomness questions i got from a friend's post in fwendster), since we have to uninstall several softwares in our pc, no test softwares = no work. so, what's the plan? surf the net, go downstairs, walk along the eastwood citiwalk, buy mocha frap. when 6pm comes, i'll be logging off, wait for nanay downstairs, endure the heavy traffic that awaits us at c5 all the way to south super hi way, catch a glimpse of kris aquino's deal or no deal, nightly rituals - tootbrush, wash face, moisurize, and then, fall asleep soundly.

~ (checked fwendster first) - according to my sent items, it was Meths.

25. Ever go to camp?
~ no. i can't bear going to camps. i can't stand having to sleep on a mat, falling prey to mosquitos and other unfriendly-biting-flying creatures, having to clean myself without the aid of a decent bathroom, having to carry a luggage heavier than myself on my back. no. camping is just not meant for me.

26. Were you an honor roll student in school?
~ during my first years in grade school, yes. but beyond that, no.

~ i know i have a great future ahead, i just can't exactly tell how i'm going to get there. but i know the future holds great things for me.

~yeps! i never leave the house without spraying perfume or cologne.

~ scattered. they are scattered everywhere! =)

~ no. no tan for this girl. there was a time in my life where i used whitening soaps. yes, i know, pathetic me. really pathetic.

~ early 30s perhaps? but find me a good husband first!

~ does a character in a movie count? if it does, it was malena.

~ no tatoos ever, except for those found in junk foods where you could place it in your skin like a sticker. that was in my pre school years. when i was a teenager, i asked nanay if i could have a hennah tattoo, and up until now, the answer is a big NO. the only pierced part of me are my earlobes.

~ always with a straw if possible.

~ cold with only few ice cubes

~ no hot sauce for me. low tolerance over spicy foods.

~ this morning.

randomness part 1

1. Where were you 1 hour ago?
~ meeting with our manager. heard the saddest thing: no mp3/movies allowed anymore. sadness talaga.

2. Who will be your next kiss?
~ tonight, a goodnight kiss for lola. i sleep beside her when louraine (whom she shares the bed with) is away.

4. When is the last time you went to the mall?
~ last night, at glorietta to meet nanay and mommie greysi on my way home.

5. Are you wearing socks right now?
~ no. slippers forever for me!

7. Have you been to the movies in the last 5 days?
~ naaah. but the last movie that i watched at my iPod was 'A Beautiful Mind'.

8. What was the last thing you had to drink?
~ water. had to force myself to drink lots of water!

9. What are you wearing right now?
~ not-so-mini-skirt, pink blouse with strings on sleeves and neckline, brown knitted jacket, brown slippers.

~ my lunch for today at kfc, two piece chicken meal with brownies plus lotsa lotsa gravies. no more free food. another sadness factor around the office.

~ brownies from kfc

12. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone?
~ no phone calls for today, but yesterday, i talked with louraine, who was once again in her i-am-the-master-mode. she made us travel all the way to her dorm, which is in cavite just to send her a blouse and a pair of jeans, plus food for the night.

13. Have you bought any clothing items in the last week?
~ yep yeps. took advantage of kamiseta's sale.

14. Do you have a pet?
~ yep yeps! muning! dig my past post for her cutsy pics.

~ badminton at a cable channel

attended a relative's funeral. lolo ceiling, (maternal) lola's brother in law died last thursday. his remains were placed (not burried, since it was the 'condo type' niches) at the north cemetery this sunday. no photos for this one, too errie and too sad to be posted here.

finally did it! still smelling fresh from the nearby salon, i just had my hair cut.

The wicked sister had long been demanding for a video cam. Yesterday, Tatay had given up, since he can no longer refuse her persistent demands. So off we went to the nearest mall - Festival Mall in Alabang.
