Riccicutie is extending her stay in the US. She's supposed to be leaving this coming Saturday and will land in Manila on Monday morning. But due to unforeseen events, she's staying until the end of August (because her visa is good only until August 30).

11:05pm here as I write. The local news says that the city, downtown Saint Louis (10minute drive from my aunt's house), has been hit by a tornado, and there had been a power outage.

It was just like a replay. When Nanay came here, there were 13 tornados! Fortunately, the tornadoes did not hit the residential areas. Sabi ng Tita, may balat daw ako sa pwet, parang si Nanay.

am packing up again tonight, i'm going to my sister in missouri and will stay there for 5 days.

Ian's friend from New York paid him a visit. We had lunch first at the appartment then went to Truro Beach afterwards.

July 4

My bunch went to the Brockton fair in the afternoon. Watched the fireworks in the evening.

Ian played with the basketball hoops, he got a bear after two trials. The ball on the right was his consolation prize.












I got this bear from the 'Fool the Guesser' booth. For 3$, you go to the booth, the guesser will asks what you want him/her to guess about you, either your age or your weight. I chose for him to guess my age. And what do you know, I fooled him! He guess was 23! Ha!

Went to New York!

On our way home, we've had a kind of tragic event. Am not writing it down here, the boss might be reading my bloggy. Send me a note if you really want to know!

i finally have it! brand spanking new ipod 60gig video!

now excuse me while i go gaga over downloading mp3s.

to buy, or not to buy.. i'm in a dilemma.

since i've been engaged with digital photography, i have longed for the dream lens. i've lusted over it's photos, dreamt of it every night, day-dreamed of it on daytime. i just have to have it. but due to it's astronomical tag price, i'd have to sell one of my kidneys to be able to have it. whoever thought of the "costs and arm and a leg" saying wasn't really kidding. if i could sell my arms and legs, i'd do. i'm that desperate.

then here comes another darling. i came face to face with iPod. it was pure nostalgia. it was like the feeling when i was first held uno-quatro (mah 50mm baby lens). i am particulary eyeing the 60gig video model. expensive, yes, but not as costly as the dream lens. i never felt this way about it until i went to the apple store. it was love at first sight. i know i have to have it.

i'm now weighing the two, if i buy the lens, my longest craving will be at long last satisfied. but, i would not be able to save any money from my allowance. on the other hand, if it's the iPod that i'd choose, i could save some money, and have a part of my craving rested.

decisions decisions. maybe i should already scout for potential kidney buyers.
