sleepy sleepy....

it's final, i'm off to virginia on the 14th (of july)! lani and cris had already booked and paid for my flight (which i'll be paying back when i get there). i'll be staying with the couple until sunday. then, back to boston by sunday night. and on the 18th, am rolling to missouri to see my sister. and there's another relative i wish to go to, but i could not extend my stay here any longer. so many places, so little time!

I had the most nerve wracking experience this morning, it happened at the restroom. While in the toilet, I heard two female voices. I didn't pay attention at first. Then I heard them talking, still I didn't mind. At first, I thought the other voice was of a child's. As I was getting out of the stall and heading for the sink, I heard one say "are you done?" then I heard them moaning. And it dawned on me... my goodness. I ran out of the restroom as fast as I can, freaking my way out. When I reached my work area, I could feel my knees shaking, my hands trembling. Naloka talaga ako. My goodness!

I blurted everything out to my (pinoy) workmates. Then the news had spread to the office like wildfire! Bo, an American workmate, came to our area and asked what happened, I told him I heard to ladies in the bathroom, moaning and everything.

"like they were having sex?"

"yeah, like that"

He said everyone was so surprised that some of the employees on the 3rd floor (we're on the 2nd floor) came down to see if the girls are still in there.

And I was surprised that they made a big deal out of that. I thought it was common to them, but they were just as surprised as I am.

Rainy Saturday on the mansions

It was raining the past days, nakakainis. We had already planned to go to Newport, Rhode Island, to see the mansions. But rain or shine, go pa rin kami. Rei wasn't able to come, may sinat daw sya, so it was only the four of us.

The mansions are along Bellevue avenue. I should have taken more photos, had it not rained. Haay. Wrong timing ang ulan. Among the mansions, we chose to go inside the Marble House. As the name goes, the interiors of the house are mostly marbles, the walls, the floors. We paid 10$ for the tour. As we got in, we were handed a radio like device, with headset, that would serve as our 'guide' as we tour the whole mansion. I have not taken any photo of the Marble house since it was not allowed. The photos below are taken from the other mansions on the same street, I wasn't able to take the names.

Remember Emily from the post below? I forgot to mention that after I had taken her photos, on my way going home, she gave me a flower. Such a sweet girl! I hope to see her again. The flower on this shot had dried already, but I find it more beautiful, or more artistic to shoot. Made me think, it's been a long time since I received one.

At Tito Oliver's house, West Roxbury, MA. Tito Oliver is Tita Leby's (Nanay's sister where my sister Jaene is staying at) brother in law. When Tita Leby knew that I was coming to the US, she informed Tito Oliver since their home is just a 10-minute drive away from our appartment. When Tita Bernie (Tito Oliver's wife) knew that I had arrived already, she called me up in the appartment and invited me and my officemates for lunch.

All of my ofcmates are going to Virginia to visit Erin's Aunt, I stayed behind since Lanie was coming for dinner on Saturday. So, home alone I was, I took a walk outside and brought my baby rebel. I was taking pictures of the sunset when all of a sudden, a girl tugged me. Syet, english speaking, I could almost feel the incoming nosebleed! She wanted to have her picture taken, and shoot I did. Who would have thought that this little one is only 3!

Saturday! Lanie called up at around 6, told me that they'll pick me up at 7pm. The couple came from their professor's wedding held somewhere in Massachusetts.
