finally got what i wanted for so long!
a curtain rod awaits me in my room when i got home last night. louraine and lola's room had theirs installed this weekend, i had mine only yesterday.
we grew up having curtains only in the sala, kitchen area and nanay & tatay's room. our rooms only have windows with jalosy and screen to protect from rain and mosquitos. i had to endure the afternoon sunlight beaming towards the side of my room if i had to take siestas.
the use of curtains and carpets were actually discouraged because sister J has asthma. and since our little homey doesn't have an air conditioning, save for nanay & tatay's room, the curtains would have gathered dusts faster.
since tatay had started the painting job on our gates and window grills, he included the curtain rods as well. so now i'm thinking of going to quiapo or divisoria soon for some curtain shopping!
next photo is the scent i so badly want. the last bottle i had was confiscated on the eheads concert. since then, i have scoured every perfume sections in the department stores and every px stores but to no avail. but on thursday last week, while s, r and i were having our afternoon break, we went inside a px store at the mall beside our office building and found this! happy happy joy joy! the big bottle is being sold for 500 pesos. but we made tawad and the sales lady agreed to sell it for 480. i only bought it yesterday because i only had meryenda money with me then.
