Friday Night Videoke

Whenever Kuya Aries is in town, we are always gathered to a night of fun, dinner, catching-ups, beer, and videoke biritan. Since most of the classmates are coming from Manila, the chosen venue was Music 21, same place we've had during the past reunions. I think we deserve to have suki card na here. Mr. Manager, yuhooo...

Call time was at 7pm, I got there at almost 9. The room that they first got, Room number 3, was already packed when I got in. No one thought of reserving a room beforehand. But not long after, we were accomodated to a larger room. Buti na lang. Mahirap mag-song-and-dance kapag masikip ang room.

The microphones were passed from one song to another while the beers flowed, along with the pika pika. Chocolates (pasabulong from Kuya Aries) were passed around. Leo and Ona invited everyone to their wedding to be held this Saturday.

Dodan and Netty did the favorite duet song, Bakit ngayon ka lang. Mike, though new to the group, didn't have a hard time belting out a few songs. Danny, as usual, didn't let the night pass without working out his vocal chords. But I guess everyone will have to agree that Marlon is the runaway winner of the night, effortlessly belting out songs from rock to love songs.

First ones to leave were Leo and Ona at around 12 midnight, as they still have a lot of things piled up for their wedding next week. Joanna, Mike and Grace followed. Then the others as well until all that's left are me, Madel, Kuya Aries, Dodan, Netty, Alice, Miziel and Marlon. We stayed until past 2am, though the room was only paid until 1am. Sinusulit lang namin, because we feel that it will take a long time before we see Kuya Aries and Madel again.

Come leaving time, Netty, Alice and I were taken home by Kuya Aries and Madel.
