Cris and Lani's Treat

another balik-bayan friends came home, lani and cris. the couple is staying here for only 2 weeks, kaya naman loaded ang kanilang schedule. we're supposed to be checking-in in a hotel for an overnight stay, but it didn't push through. so the next thing to do is pig out in an eat-all-you can restaurant - kamayan. lani and cris was first to arrive at megamall, next is gagay, then me. last was grace. jubel was supposed to come, kaya lang 8pm na e nasa meeting pa rin.

i had at least 3 rounds that night, not counting the halo halo and deserts. there goes my diet! at siempre, kung may balikbayan, hindi mawawala ang pasalubong. i received an apple flavored lotion which smells so yummy, ang sarap kainin. plus, i took gagay's share of chocolates.

for this get together, i left work at 5pm (pag ganitong kainan ang occasion, top priority sa list ko, so i set aside work so i may be able to be on time to meet the girls). i took a cab from work upto megamall. no signs of rain coming. during the time when we were pigging out and catching up on our latest chismis, we weren't aware the outside megamall, edsa is being attacked by flashfloods already! i learned the next day the that heavy rain poured down at about 6pm (the time i get off) complete with lightnings and thunders! it lasted for about 2 hours. while we were busy eating and making chismis, great floods and rain were wreaking havoc on the metro! magandang timing ang treat nina cris and lani, while most people are stranded, kami naman stranded sa lamesa =)

we left at almost 9pm. ang taray ng ride namin going home, fortuner! greys was dropped off first at boni, then me at pacita.
