World Light Expo

Saturday afternoon, February 17

We left at Sandra's at past 2 since RM and Bridj are on shift that day. RM's father, whom we all call Tatay, drove us back to the office. I stayed for a few moments at my worksation, downloaded the photos I took from Sandra's and went to Dodan's. It was his birthday last February 14, and he invited me for a little sort-of-dinner party. He had also invited his officemates. After the dinner, he asked if I wanted to see the World Light Expo (previously in my post, I mentioned this as the lantern festival), I said yes. But when he told me that there's an entrance fee (300 for adults, 200 for kids below 4 feet), I hesitated. But we went anyway. Another correction, it is not located in MOA, it is actually along Coastal road, right beside the Coastal Mall.

Flowers at Dodan's. These are her mother's 'pets'.

The entrance to the World Light Expo! Too bad I wasn't able to bring the tripod. So all shots here are only handheld. Next time, I know better.

There's a Chinese circus show inside. Of course, we sat at the front row so I can take some shots.

The laser show right at the fountain! The first time I saw one was when I was with my sister in Missouri, US.

Dodan trying out his kungfu skills, while I figure out the correct settings for the rebel. It took 3 jumps before we came up with this. The first one was too blurred, second one was too dark (high shutter speed).
