happy weekend

SATURDAY

was at buendia lrt station at 10am, waited for dodan for about 30 mins. actually, 9am ang usapan, but as usual, i over slept again, so i was late. kaya lang, late na nga ako, late pa rin sya dumating. he was still on the bus the time i arrived at the meetingplace. contest ata ito, kung sino ang pinaka late na dadaating. the waiting didn't last for 30 mins. buti na lang.

then off we go to quiapo for some lens (window)shopping. sinuyod namin ang bawat tindahan sa may hidalgo. i was like a kid left in a candy store. naglalaway ako sa bawat makita ko. sobrang nakaka-aliw, sobrang nakakalula. but after learning the price, i'm brought back to reality. haay.. hanggang pangarap na lang muna for now.

matapos ang ilang ikot ikot, i bought a 15 pesos palabok plus two lumpiang toge for lunch. dodan had pizza at greenwhich. after lunch, we dropped by at quiapo church, since it's just a stone's throw away. a mass started a few minutes after we came in. by the way, it was st. agnes' feast day.

after hearing the mass, we went back to hidalgo. while walking along, bumili ako ng cauliflower and brocoli. at one point, i thought i was becoming like nanay, gulay freak. anyway, i was actually hoping to buy the 50mm f1.8 lens, the cheaper alternative to its 1.4 counterpart. still undecided, we went to sm, at dun ko pinagpatuloy ang pagmuni-muni. buti na lang, matyaga si dodantot, kahit pa magdamag syang gising, since he's on a night shift this month.

at around past 1pm, di ko na natiis. we went to the shop that sells the cheapest 50mm f1.4 lens. it was like love at first sight. i can't get my hands off it the moment the sales lady handed it to me. i'm giving it a name, unokwatro(from it's 1.4 maximum aperture). hindi ko na binitawan si unokwatro. hanggang sa inilabas ko na ang isa ko pang bestprend, si mc (mastercard). sa isip ko, bahala na sa kin si batman once tatay sees the bill. hindi ko na kayang palagpasin ang pagkakataong ito.

got home at half past 6. sinamahan ko si nanay on taking louraine to alabang, it was her classmate's debut party. while waiting, since magastos sa gas kung uuwi pa kami ulit, we went to shopwise for grocery shopping.

the party was finished at 12midnight.

SUNDAY

pacman's big day (night actually, since the fight is in nevada). the whole haus members were glued to the tube. sobrang nainis sina nanay, kase via satellite kuno ng chanel 2, but it was delayed acutally. we also tuned in in dzmm, monopolized ng chanel 2 ang laban! round 8 na according to the radio report, pero hindi pa rin nag-s-start ang laban sa tv. kainis. anyway. we still enjoyed watching the fight, wala na nga lang suspense factor since round 1 kase we knew already that pacman will win. ang guwapo ni erik!!! such a cutie.. hehe..
