weekend with dodantot

spent the whole saturday with dodantot. reached g4, our usual meeting place, at past 12 noon. he was being intervied by two students when i came. hungry, thirsty and all, i got irritated with the interviewers. the interview was finished in 15 minutes. "nakasimangot ka na naman" he'd always say that...

we bought tickets first at g3 for Stepford Wives. afterwards, we went to kenny's at parksquare 1 to have lunch.

the movie was quite boring, since the story was quite familiar already. if not for nicole's charm and bette midler's wit, i would have gone sleeping away the 150 bucks.

we then went to mercury drug, bought medicines for lola and some toiletries for mua. we're about to exit at the 2nd floor but noticed the the aisle was jam-packed since there was a mass going on. we went upstairs to exit at the 3rd floor. just before leaving out, i bought twix, my all time favorite chocolate bar.

dodan asked where we could buy some 'photo paper', the one you can use with an ordinary printer to print photographs. i said we could look at the national bookstore. we saw the 'photo paper' at the ground floor. it was quite expensive, 200 bucks for 10 pieces. i walked through the scrapbooking section and what do u know? i saw different shapes of eyelets! star shaped, heart, flowers, spades etc and in different colors! i immediately bought 4, two star shaped blue and pink, a flower shaped and a heart shaped. while paying for the eyelets, i asked for the mercury bag. dodan replied he doesn't know. at first, i thought he was kidding. oh no! 2000+ worth of medicines are gone.

we traced back from where we left. went to the customer service to report my missing bag. we then went back to mercury to ask. luckily, the bag was there! i figured out that i left it when i bought the chocolate. life was good!

dodan took me home that nyt.

sunday...

got two phone calls from owsi, asking we could go over at dodan's so we could finally view their wedding. i told her i'd ask dodan first. i txted him to call home when he's awake already. he phoned home an hour after and said it's okay for us to drop by.

i got there at 2pm. it was their town's fiesta. hungry as always, i asked for a sandwich. while we were waiting for owsi and jeff, we watched shrek1, since i havent seen the movie yet. owsi and jeff came in an hour and a half later.

owsi brought her home cooked pansit malabon. shortly after she unwrapped the pansit, we decided to eat na. sarap talagang magluto ni owsi. jeff is one lucky guy!

when settled in the living room, we watched her wedding. i was kind of feeling uneasy, since i was not able to make it in time on their wedding day.

before leaving, we ate again. mama's (dodan's) specialty, mechado.

we left at past 7pm.

again, dodan took me home.
