some events
been really bz these days. here's a recap on what's happening in my world lately...
June 13
Keona Izella Maria was baptized this day. She's sooo cute, mana sa ninang ;)
Lani and I met up at Jollibee Pacita at 7:30AM. Tatay drove us to San Antonio Chapel, Cabuyao, Laguna. There was a mass going on when we came. We thought that Grace and her baby was already inside so we checked first inside if they were there, but to no avail. So, we just waited outside the chapel. The first one who came was Gagay. We were wondering what's taking Grace so long that Lani decided to call her. Grace said that she's just waiting for Kim. After about half an hour, Jubel and her boyfriend came and then Grace came already, without the baby. We asked for Keona and she said that Keona is still inside the car, since the baptismal rites are not starting yet. Daldalan galore. Chismisan on who's married already in our batch, on who's got children already, on who's with whom etc etc. Finally, the mass ended already and it was time for the baptism. Since the chapel was soooo crowded, and everyone seemed so lost, the priest announced that everyone get out of the chapel. What??? Ang gulo gulo, ha! After the benches were arranged, the priest let everyone in. Magulo pa rin. The babies to be baptized are seated in the front while the ninongs ang ninangs are at the back. It was so hot inside, i was sweating like a pig. haay. The ceremony was finished by 11. We then headed to Kim's place. Wow, fiesta! Ang daming food! After having lunch, the three of us, Mua, Lani and Gagay, decided to spend the rest of the day at the mall. Jubel could not come with us since she and her boyfriend have plans already. Tatay drove us to the Festival Mall. We planned on watching a movie and chosed among these: shrek2, lady killer, all my life, the day after tomorrow. gagay wanted to watch shrek2, kahit napanood na nya. since i hav watched the movie already, i told them to choose another. lani did not want to watch the day after tomorrow, nakakapagod daw panoorin. i didn't want to watch all my life. so the only one left was lady killer. omygawd. such a tragic decision. this was so far, the most boring movie i've ever seen in my entire life. no kidding. after 30 mins, i've actually fallen asleep. i woke up when the movie was about to end. afterwards, the three of us went to wendy's to have merienda. then, shopping galore. gagay bought a green sleeveless blouse, lani got herself 3 blouses, and i got myself a new pair of sandals and a pair of dangling earings. we split up at about past 6pm already. just in time when lani and i boarded the fx, rain came down.

Rizal's birthday.
Ona and I met up at jollibee luneta at 9:30am. i was actually an hour earlier. our good friend, owsi, is getting married this july 17. in preparation for her wedding, ona and i went to divisoria to buy fabrics for our gowns in owsi's wedding. from luneta, ona and i couldn't decide on what jeep to take, biyaheng sta. cruz nga ba? so we decided to take a cab. we got at divisoria about 20 minutes. owsi met us at the corner of ... (i forgot the name of the streets). we stayed at owsi's workplace for a while so ona and i could browse through the catalogue on what type of gown we'd be wearing. we came up with this - two piece dress, off shoulder, with a chiffon hanging below the shoulder... afterwards, ona and i went to buy fabrics. we were assisted by jeff's mom, we were also encouraged to have our gowns repaired there. the labor and fabrics all summed up to only 780 pesos. afterwards, ona and i headed to tutuban mall to have our lunch. we ate at max's. then, made ikot at the clusters, which seemed to me more like a labyrinth. i see it as a maze needed to be solved. gosh, the cluster in divisoria is really a shopping heaven. i even so a pair of shoes there which sells at 450, the same on i have that i bought for P850. yikes. ona bought an umbrella. i was actually thinking of buying a blouse, but credit cards do not function there. since we got kinda far away from where we starterd, we particularly rememembered each corners that we pass through. to no avail, we still got lost inside. afer making several rounds, we couldn't find our way back. i thought we were already at the end of some other dimension. okay, exagg... be somehow, miraculously found our way back. at the robinson's dept store, i bought three shirts for tatay, since my credit card has all its powers there. i also bought an eyeshadow. after the tiring, back breaking walk at tutuban mall, we headed back to owsi's workplace. had merienda. leo came in about an hour to fetch ona. at 5pm, owsi and i went back to divisoria to check for souvenir items for her wedding. we were not able to get some, but at least we already have an idea on the designs. on our way home, i was trying to figure out on what route i'd be taking. luckily, there's a pacita fx terminal not far from where we were. the driver seemed to be impatient in getting passengers that he decided to take the baclaran bound passengers. lucky for owsi and i!

owsi celebrated her birthday this day. i was not able to bring her any gift, i was dead broke. i had a hard time remembering the corner of their street. it was years since my last visit. i have already passed their corner without noticing it. i called her at home. her brother, joel, offered to fetch me where i am. Spent the rest of the afternoon in their haus, eating and eating. after filling up my stomach with so much that it feels that everything has gone up to my neck, owsi and i went to SM sucat. went through every botique in search of a good dress that she will in her wedding. after walking for about long enough that seemed like i would hav reached home, we found a blouse decent enough to wear for her wedding day. we parted ways at past 8 already.
